Flow
So much of what we rely on simply runs in the background of our daily lives, unnoticed yet completely integral to who we are. Society functions with the help of technology, but we are nearing the breaking point of overconsumption where we may soon lose our sense of touch with physical reality. This publication uses wire as raw material to embody the delicate push and pull technology has on us while lingering in the space between enough and too much. It explores the progression between these two extremes from proper functioning to entanglement and serves as a reminder that we must maintain balance and a steady flow without allowing ourselves to consume too much of a good thing. This range of compositions utilizes extreme close-up shots to show that even the smallest of things can have a massive impact.
